creative direction: show context & contrast
After crafting b8ta's brand and editorial guidelines, one of my goals was to elevate b8ta's visual presence, specifically on Instagram, while promoting the products sold in store.
The strategy was to give inanimate objects (e.g. routers, earbuds) soul through story and composition. Most of the products sold at b8ta are electronic devices or gadgets. On their own, they lose context. My goal was to make b8ta's products stand out from the typical consumer electronics crowd by using an elevated, editorial photo style to tell an interesting narrative.
