B2B-focused teaser campaign for b8ta's upcoming store launch in San Francisco.

The goal was to increase brand awareness among investors and product makers to show that b8ta wasn't just a store, but a retail technology company with the power to transform brick-and-mortar. 

The inspiration came from numerous headlines that claimed "retail is dead," many pointing fingers at who'd done it (Amazon?) or who'd fallen short (Sears? Wal-Mart? Toys-R-Us?). 

No one yet had asked who was going to help keep it alive.
